Boy these short games do have a theme of being walking simulators, but this has got to be the most frustrating in terms of holding and slowing the player’s progress back for the sake of telling its story. There is an option to move slightly faster in the game, but it’s menial and still feels too slow. Now, by all means, I really enjoy the story and the setting of the game, which is why I feel bad starting on a bad note, but the pacing was just too agitating not too mention. The player starts the game as seemingly the only person left in this deserted town and your task, ultimately, is to find out where all the people went and why. There are plenty of extras and collectibles to discover that adds to the context of the disappearances, or you can rush and not delve too deep into the story. If you’re looking for a slow-paced relaxing game with a good story this is definitely one of the better ones to pick up.
Oh, and it has a very easy Platinum trophy for all you trophy hunters out there.
